Was there for an hour sun evening. Pretty much the same as psilo. But also had a nice Grey Wagtail and a Kestrel just over the dual carraigeway.

6 adult terns today and 4 juveniles all of which have now fledged. The youngsters are giving some excellent views with at one time 3 of the youngsters coming into land not 15 feet from where I was stood and preceeded to preen totally unconcerned. The adults are disappearing off over the tops of the houses for long periods and ocming back with fish. I suspect they are going to Rumworth lodge as they always return from that direction too.

Both juvenile great crested grebes were being fed by their parents. Some huge fish were being fed to the largest one. How he got them down I have no idea!

A flock of approx 18 long tailed tits and a family group of willow warblers were also about. One snipe flew up and left.

4 adult terns and at least 4 juveniles present. 3 of the juveniles have fledged and I managed to get good views/photographs of them on the far bank.

Also 2 well grown juvenile grebes still with their parents in attendance. Looks like one was trying to make a break for freedom as it kept flying up and down the lodge.

18 tufted ducks many of which are amazingly tame. Lots of house martins also passing though.
