late afternoon dog walk, covered C3 only due to noise and disturbance from about 10 4x4 vehicles and loads of bikes in and around New Water, the situation is getting ridiculous the amount of rubbish that was left last week was horrendous.

350+ Redwing flying around in all directions with many in trees also probably missed a lot having just heard and not seen them. Having read the Pennington Flash post this morning it would confirm true numbers to be much higher.
500+ Pink - footed Geese in 3 skeins again as mentioned on Pennington Flash post.
Siskin, Linnet and Lesser Redpoll flying over calling

kestrel hunting over field close to top of new road before being mobbed by magpies and a single jackdaw, sparrowhawk over heading NE, 11 meadow pipit, 2 reed bunting, 3 wren, several blackbird, 2 robin, 9 long tailed tit, great tit, blue tit, 1 jay, carrion crow, wood pigeon including a flock of c70 just off site in fields at Owens farm,

stock pond 2 gadwall and no sign of wigeon yesterday evening 2 wigeon and 8 gadwall although today there were a couple of anglers so ducks possibly in reed beds,
diggle flash 40+ coot, 14 tufted duck, 11 mallard, 8 moorhen, 2 adult + 4 juvenile great crested grebe, 3 little grebe, 2 mute swan, 2 black headed gull, 1 grey heron.
