male stonechat with at least 1 juvenile i think more but they were difficult to see, well hidden i only saw them by accident watching a family party of whitethroat.

one of the anglers told me there was a little egret on the flash yesterday late afternoon/early evening.

kingfisher on stock pond @06-25, family parties of willow warbler, great tit, blue tit and long tailed tit, 2 juvenile robins, mistle thrush singing.

250+ Black headed Gull on New Water with many more coming and going , presumably high insect pickings available.

Cheers Bernard, Not a lot to add to Bernards sightings. Cracking views of Water Rail out in the open at New Water. Treecreeper seen around the entrance to Froggy Island, dont see to many on this site. 4 Linnet flew over and into C8 from C6. 5 Lapwing in C10. 2 Great Crested Grebes, Fir Tree Flash.

No worries Gordon didnt check dates, was thinking we'd not seen many this year. Good to see nonetheless.

Couple of Reed Warblers flying back into nests in C6.

Thanks Scott i thought i saw a female whinchat in C8 this morning around 9-45 ish but didn't see it clearly enough to be sure so didn't include in my sightings, probably same bird.
