Other sightings this afternoon included 10 Wigeon, c40 Lapwings, 19 Ringed Plovers, 1 juvenile Little Ringed Plover, 2 Common Sandpipers, 1 Dunlin and the Spotted Redshank. Earlier there were 2 Ruff this morning but no sign this afternoon.
An impressive movement of terns through this afternoon and a good selection of waders seen over the weekend and today by various regulars. c70 terns including 1 Little, 2 Sandwich, c40 Arctic and c30 Common.

This p.m. 2 juvenile Black Terns on No.2 from 4:00 - 5:15 pm at least. Only other 'real' migrants were 3 sand martins and a single swift. I know that other 'goodies' were present in the a.m., but they appeared to have left.
Collectively an impressive 11 species of wader on no 1 today with c40 Lapwings, the Grey Plover, 5 Ringed Plovers, 3 Little Ringed Plovers, 2 Common Sandpipers, 1 Redshank, 1 Greenshank, 2 Black-tailed Godwits, 1 Knot, 9 Dunlin, and 1 Sanderling. The Black Tern is still present this afternoon and a Hobby was seen.
Juvenile Black Tern remains on no 1. this morning, also a breeding plumaged Grey Plover. Other birds included 22 Teal, 23 Gadwall, 11 Shoveler, 16 Goosanders, 1 Little Grebe, c40 Lapwings, 1 Ringed Plover , 3 Little Ringed Plovers, 8 Black-tailed Godwits. 1 Redshank, 2 Common Sandpipers, 1 Dunlin, 4 Ring-necked Parakeets, c20 Swifts, c15 Sand Martins, 1 House Martin, 1 Blackcap and 3 Chiffchaffs.

This morning, 1 Greylag Goose, 1 Teal, 5 Gadwall, 6 Lapwings, 1 Oystercatcher, c80 Sand Martins but very few Swallows and House Martins and only 15 Swifts.
The Turnstone from yesterday remains on no 1, 1 Gadwall, 1 drake Common Scoter, 1 Dunlin, c50 Swifts, 1 Wheatear and a Sedge Warbler heard singing on the east bank of no 1.
