this past weekend i went to the farne islands on a three day birdwatching trip, got there late friday so not much , saturday went on a boat trip round the islands and an hour on inner farne (good idea to wear a hat ). what an amazing place artic turns every where! coming down and sitting on your head and peckcing you !!! also full of puffins !!!!. when you are approaching the cliffs on the smell really hits you full of guillimots. back on the groundsd of where we were staying (national trust cragside) there was miles and miles of thick woodland, moorland and fields. bellow is a full list of birds seen or heard.
