Sunday 22nd April am............Olive Mount Farm - Cuckoo, 9 Wheatear, 9 Grey Partridge, 2+ Tree Sparrow, Yellowhammers, Stock Doves.........had a decent look round Barton / Irlam / Chat / Cadishead Moss but couldn't find any ouzels

Thanks for putting the news on Ian, my PC is still very dodgy. I had a brief look again yesterday evening (20th) with no joy. The 2 Green land wheatear were still showing well along moss lane and the cuckoo was giving excellent views on the wires near to where they cross the road. Moss lane looks good for dotterel (fingers crossed!!)

Andy Isherwood found a female Ring Ouzel at the top of Rindle Road, Astley Moss on the 19th. The bird was in the hedge around the horse paddock just before the level crossing, also present were 2 Greenland Wheatear. Come on the 'lowlands' biggrin
