Cyprus Spring 2007

Just got back from Northern Cyprus yesterday (you didn't really think I was just not bothering to update the site did you disbelief.gif ) and my trip report with some superb photos will be published soon. No sooner had I got home though when I find that the south side (Paphos etc) had had a couple of real megas, Blyths Pipit (first for Cyprus) and Dunn's Lark (first for Europe) eyepopping.gif and I thought I had a good time! Shouldn't grumble though really, problem is I had a whole half an island almost to myself as per usual (in stark contrast to southern Cyprus), which is absolute heaven but makes finding any rarities more difficult than it usually is. Now all I have to do is use all that time reaquanting myself with birds that would be megas here, in finding the buggers locally nod.gif
