Ring Ousel

Judith,
It was me that found the Ring Ouzel (female). Sorry for not putting it on the GM forum. I only had a brief view as it circled over trees on the NW side of the reservoir, long enough to see the white breast band. It dropped back down behind the trees and I was unable to relocate it despite searching for half an hour.

It was actually on the members section of the rochdale website
this morning Judith for those who have registered (free). I also had a text about it, again via the members section (free), about 9.30a.m.
This is a very useful service for those manchester birders who may be out of the county to keep them aware of what is appearing in part of it, as it happens, in case they want to rush back!wink

A little Woosey bird told me there was a Ring Ousel at Watergrove Reservoir today - not yet on the Rochdale web site.
