hi all,smashing day on lodge, there at dawn before all the the dog walkers and swan feeders etc.,
2 oystercatchers             8 pochard
50 bh gull                       12 tufted
8  lapwing                       1  smew
1  gc grebe                     6 moorhen
12 coot                          2 willow tit
4 longtail                        6 blue tits
2 gadwall                        2 reed bunting
the list goes on with house sparrow ,wood pigeon etc, but blacktailed godwit at dover   missing today two pinkfeet also absent.The bh gull colony on the backpool was bristling with activity and is still audable from our house.
