Had a walk round this morning 9.10 am to 10.30 am hoping to see the scaup, sadly they'd move off. Saw 2 Kingfishers having a squabble, 8+ Oystercatchers, good numbers of Teal, Gadwall, Lapwing and Great Crested Grebe, 1 Grey Heron, 1 Kestrel and a long range view of a Buzzard. Bumped into Steve Almond and Keith Mills during my visit.

At Lock Lane a pair of Lapwing were on territory, and a bird that flushed, as I was putting up my scope, went down into juncus
after 40yards. probable Woodcock suspect.
