took mrs g and dog for a walk today first call horrocks. all the usuals and a couple of redpoll but didnt see the red headed smew,one buzzard flying overhead.onto scotchmans the blackneck grebe showing well on the canal side posing for pictures. i met fellow blogger Algpan and after conversation about birds in majorca ,i asked mrs g if we could go.she said she would stay on the beach and i could bird watchonto westwood where the female red crested pochard was showing well. the dog had a dip in scotchmans on the way back and i must admit it looked very inviting.the sun was bouncing off the water and hitting me straight on the nose,some might say couldnt realy miss it!
