Black Swan still present with the main flock of swans
Cetti's warbler calling by the hide , which has very limited viewing nowadays , lots of branches and shrubs in the way , I have spoken to the volunteers , but will wait and see , might have to do a bit to urban gardening when no one is looking .
yeah photos were taken yesterday at 12.30 and appeared on Facebook I believe... local birders had a look later but no sign , and again this morning but still no luck ,
Broad ees dole has been neglected and is very overgrown you can just about see out of the hide but not very well , such a shame it could still be in there feeding at the back or it may have just been a drop in bird .
The 3 common scoters (females) were still present at 7.35pm, they did have a brief fly around at 7.15pm but landed back down at the western end near the jet ski ramps. Also 2 sand martins over.

A couple of dozen gadwall with the coots and black-headed gulls on the Western end of the lake, a dozen tufted ducks with the mallards and Canada geese next to the slipway and a drake goosander with the raft of herring gulls. A 2nd calendar year peregrine was perched on a pylon where I watched it for around an hour & a half as it made numerous attempts to try catch a variety of birds, they included black-headed gulls, a bullfinch, 3 goldfinch, a crow & a mistle thrush, eventually perched up on another pylon then soon disappeared. Later on it was seen with kill. Pretty quiet on walk around.
