I have much more info, articles and ideas yet to come too, just haven't found the time to get round to them , so keep an eye on the 'What's new' board from time to time as they make their way into the site. As for the mystery birds, striking a balance in the difficulty of the photographs against the wide range of birding capabilities of those taking part can be difficult but not as difficult as those trying to guess the birds identities I suppose! I'm extremely honoured so many take part and only hope it might help atleast one or two to study, not so much photo's, but the birds they see in the field a little more closely
i,m glad i found the forum and the main website,i,m still trying to wade through all the info ,as a novice birder it,s great to be able to ask question,s and get informed local answers.I will ponder the mystery bird entrant problem and try to explain why i did,nt enter for the first two months of trying to i.d the headless wonders but watched the results eagerly
Make that 8 at the moment! Yesterday was the busiest evening of the forum ever, with 23 users online at once and we're not even into full spring passage yet, when I envisage the forum will be at peak usage. Great stuff, I'm glad to see it's being of some use, as for the mystery birds competition, I'd like to see more forum users taking part, we can all learn something and have a laugh in the process
