gary,i,ve just looked back and neither me or ian said that the peregrine was seen on the pylon early am, but thanks for the turners flash sighting of the smew i,m having another attempt digiscoping the elusive one on sunday cos the weather forcast looks good, all i,ve got to is find it  before it leaves and i,ll have a shower just in case

went to horrocks today but didnt see anywhere near them numbers did see half dozen pink feet .i was looking for the smew, found but not on horrocks the nifty little blighter was on Turners managed to get a few photos but very amature.also three ruddy ducks ,shovellers ,tufties ,mallard ,coot great crested grebe and kestrel.
