The tern "Chat Moss" is an umbrella term covering a number of constituent mosslands, with Chat Moss itself in the centre. We have a map with all the different fields and areas numbered, which observers can find and print off on the Sites page of this website. It would be really great, and help to protect the mosslands against the development ideas of the major owner (Peel) if people could mention the field number (eg F6) when they post a list of sightings. Thanks.
