RE: Blackcap in Chorlton garden

A female Blackcap was in a Chorlton garden on Sunday 17th Feb, two doors away from Chorlton Brook at the edge of Chorlton Park.

There has been a male and a female Blackcap intermittently in my garden in Sale since Saturday - the male at least has been feeding on ivy and pyracanthus berries.

I had a male in my garden in Bury a couple of weeks ago. It stayed for a whole week. It hogged the bird table and fought off anything else that landed on the table - including seeing off a blackbird.

And my mum had a male Blackcap in her Summerseat garden on Sunday, which I saw - first for about 5 years!
