Book festival

£11 to meet Mr Cocker tis a bargain, just hopes he signs his others books I may take with me .

Plus we have to promote interest in books because they are ace .

Keep reading Bird Books and nature things in general

Looks interesting, particularly Tim Birkhead, but £11 per each one hour talk? - and it's to promote their book sales... no

I've been informed of this festival taking place in Buxton. I understand there will be three Authors present and giving talks on bird related topics. Mark Cocker Our Place (Saturday 21 July) - Buxton-born naturalist on the places and people who have shaped the way we view nature, and how we need to reignite a Green movement in Britain. Tim Birkhead The Wonderful Mr Willughby (Saturday 21 July) - The story of the worlds first ornithologist. Mary Colwell Curlew Moon (Sunday 22 July) - One womans journey to shed light on the plight of one of Britains most iconic birds.
