RE: Shavington Park - Adderley (Shropshire)

From Tittenley Pool this evening (18.30hrs):

Little Egret x2 (found by my neighbour Roy Gardner)
Tufted Duck x8
Cormorant x35
Greylag Goose +100
Canada Goose +200
Moorhen
Coot
Grey Heron x6
Lapwing x22
Raven x1 (in nearby field)

Lots of passerine activity in surrounding woods and gull/corvid activity in neighbouring fields. Perhaps all waiting for nuptial flight/eruption of winged ants this evening?

Yesterday 01/04/2016
We had four Shelducks flying over Bank House Farm with a Ruddy Shelduck - which has to be an escapee from somewhere (this is not an April fools joke).
There is also a pair of Mandarin Duck which are quite conspicuous around Bawhill Wood. Perhaps there was a waterfowl collection at Big Pool, Shavington Gardens in the recent past?
Grey wagtails x2 at Adderley locks along the SU Canal
Mute Swan x2 in same location with another pair near the village
Sparrowhawk x1 at roadside woods opposite Ferney Heys
Kestrel x1 in Adderley village
