National Wetland Centre (WWT), Llanelli,Carmarthenshire.


We called here on Sunday 27/5, on our way back from the Pembrokeshire birding trip.
First visit for me, and with hot and sunny weather.
Sightings:
Spoonbill...1
Little Egrets....6
Cormorants...5
Grey Heron...1
Black-tailed Godwits....70
Shelduck..55
Greylag Geese...a few.
Sedge Warbler....1
Cetti's Warbler...1 (3 more heard)
Wigeon...1
Knot ....5
Tufted Duck...a few.
Swallows ....12
Jay...1
Pied Wagtail...2
Lesser Black- backed and Herring gulls
There were plenty of Butterflies and Dragon/Damselflies for the group to improve their ID skills on.
