RE: Marple (other wildlife)

Wednesday p.m.

White-letter hairstreak visible on ash tree (next to an elm) from Marple Aqueduct almost at eye level (about 10 meters distance - good binoculars (and eyes) needed). If you want to see this species, this is the best, and most reliable site in the area. Even a chance of purple hairstreak, but the oaks are a little bit further away from the bridge. If you see nothing, well the view is terrific from 100 feet above the river.

To all Politicians, Heads of State, Businessmen, Landowners, Farmers etc... thanks for ruining my retirement.
