Alder Leaf Beetle present on several Alders between the Etihad and Holt Town tram stops, some relatively untouched although a few signs of the beetles 3 Speckled Wood on Upper Helena Street 1 Large White also on Upper Helena Street
This afternoon between Etihad tram stop and Holt Town tram stop
5 Brown Hawker including 2 chasing Large Whites 1 Common Blue 2 Speckled Wood 2 Meadow Brown 6 Large White 1 Red Admiral 1Comma 2 Gatekeeper Harlequin Ladybird
I saw a dead Hedgehog near Holt Town tram stop yesterday (23/11/2013). I initially thought it may have been hit by a tram, but on slightly closer inspection there were no injuries, which I would have expected if this was so. My only other conclusion is that it was caught out by the drop in temperatures and hadn't actually hibernated.

Also 2 Brown Hawker (the only dragonfly I can identify!)
A bat species was flying around the corner of Varley Street and Bradford Road this evening. It did look a little larger than a Pipistrelle although it was more than likely this species.
