June 17 to 21st. A few bits and bobs seen from our Douglas Hotel and approaching on the ferry.

Guillimot 2
Gannet 3...seen a bit further out in the Irish Sea.
Black Guillimot 2
Shags
Oystercatchers
Grey Heron 1
Eider 2
Scoter 2
Common Tern 2
Curlew 5
Redshank 2
Dunlin 1
Carrion Crow 2 on beach.
Hooded Crows...on the beach.
Great Black-backed Gull 2
Herring Gulls...including our 2 pet ones perched on our hotel ledge.

Highlights & for the record: Peel Harbour, Sunday - kittiwake c20 perched along breakwater - Eider ducks. Douglas Bay off Marine drive, Monday - Stonechats - Meadow Pipit - c50 swallows & house martins. Castletown Langness Point, Chough 2 - wheatear many - stonechats - yellow wagtail 2 - linnets - skylark - mipits - little egret 3 - white wagtail 1 - pied wagtails - rock pipits 3 - common scoter 5 - oystercatchers - cormorants - gannets many - curlew. Also 3 bottle nosed dolphins & c15 grey seals

At least 40 and possibly 50 plus Eider - courtship behaviour
At least 6 Black Guillemot
At least 50 and possibly nearer 100 Fulmar
At least 4 Gannet
Also 3/4 Grey Seal & at least a couple of Razorbill

Dipped on the Basking Sharks! Very dissapointed with the boat trips on offer, the customer service was appalling.

Mobbed by a Herring Gull - then had a little tussle then both flew off in the same direction
