Been a while since I have reported anything from Trafford Park Hotel car park this mainly due to there being a temporary covid vaccination centre there but went a few months ago. Today I had a male blackcap eating berries there. There was a chiffchaff singing there also a couple of weeks ago & several goldcrest around.
Peregrine perched on one of the towers of the lifting Bridge whilst driving over Barton Bridge at 6.35am. Looks like some work is going on on beyond as there is scaffolding around the roof top.
Peregrine on the letter B of beyond Trafford Centre side at 3.35pm, I actually drove into the car park to get a photo but it soon flew off but only to go & land on the letter B on the other side. Bad angle that side
I have been seeing a very large number of gulls recently hanging around mellors Road just off Trafford Park Road, all the years of working in Trafford Park I have noticed it but never paid to much attention to it, so yesterday after work just before 7pm I actually drove down mellors road, it's a dead end down there but all the gulls are hanging around there as there is a recycling centre called s Norton & Co. Not great viewing when close up there, you don't see as many gulls that are actually there but I would give an approximate guess at around 300+ majority Lesser Black backed gulls. A quick photo taken on my mobile whilst parked up, tried not to disturb them by getting out of the car. I will try my best to give it a bit more attention from now on just incase anything looks different. There is a few roost sites in Trafford Park, I have mentioned these in posts in this thread on a number of occasions, Eddie stobart is usually the main one but hard to view, also get them on occasions on kerry logistics which is handy for me as it is next door to my works, better views. I try my best not to skive work when I'm on my late shift

Female peregrine was perched on one of the peel towers of the lifting bridge at 9.15am this morning, soon flew off as a lesser black backed gull started harassing her. Male perched on Barton bridge.
It's taken me ages to get my eye in on the peregrines on the Beyond building but I've finally got there. The male was on the letter E on the Trafford Centre side last evening at 7:40.
Just after 8am this morning a (very large) Peregrine was sat on one of the lifting bridge tower and then just after midday two were on the Beyond sign on the Trafford Centre side of the building.
