A Buzzard flew over Cemetery Road tram stop this morning. I lost sight of it amongst a group of gulls milling around the area.

Mute swan pair paid fleeting visit to Droylsden marina. Gone again Friday.
Grey heron

Today 10:00
flock of long tailed tits c. 20 and several blue tits behind library
usual canada geese and barnacle goose on main canal
grey wagtail on marina
nothing unusual to note.

Ringed teal not seen for a while.
Barnacle goose still around- has teamed up with domestic farmyard goose (for want of a better description)
Pair mute swans at Fairfield junction - no signs of nesting.
Several pairs of canada geese with goslings (at least a dozen).
Pair mallards with three surviving ducklings (statred with seven).
