Large movement of Lesser Black-backed Gulls over Flixton. 200+, 1130-1400 heading south west. Also a small number of Black-headed Gulls.

Walk with the dogs down to the Mersey at the end of Southgate in Urmston/Flixton.

Two Goosanders one male one female. These sailed past me down the Mersey towards Flixton -- Carrington

Three Sand martins overhead. First of the year and always the start of Summer for me.

Phil,

If they are in Flixton, my missus wont be happy as they love the berries on our Holly Bush, think 10-15 at any one time was the max last year..

We tend to get them once they have found William Wroe GC or the field next to St Michaels Church...If the numbers being reported today on various sites are true, then should be around very very soon.....
