Just had a great week in the Isle Of Withorn(not actually an island). Cottage overlooking the Solway firth.
A family holiday but managed to squeeze a bit of birding in, well you have too haven't youbiggrin.gif

Guy next to me picked up a Gt Northern Diver but i couldn't get on it, same with a Storm Petrelcry.gif

Had a brief stop at Loch Ryan...
Red Breasted Merganser
Eider
Redshank, Black tailed Godwit, Curlew, Ringed Plover.
No Divers, but looks a great place.

Went to the Red Kite feeding station at Loch Kenbiggrin.gif Must've been 80 Kites in the air, spectacular to say the leastbiggrin.gif

Pretty good weather all week as well, we got sunburned!!
