Its rough scrubland and fields with horses, and one of the areas where a casual single visit ,would be likely to find very little of note.It used to be my patch in the 1970's-1990 and I really saw little of note most visits, with the odd decent bird, and its one of those sites where a patcher in this case Phil Rhodes finds a few decent birds, where as the casual visitor would soon give up as in my experiance there is very little to see for much of the time.
