Last morning mooch before I go back to work next week,

5 Blackbird
2 Robin
Mixed Finch flock in Alders mainly Goldfinch and Chaffinch but managed 2 Redpoll and 3 Greenfinch in there as well.
7 Pied Wagtail
There's now 6 Tufted Duck on the flood with a single Great Crested Grebe.

3 Stonechat, 2 again seen at Abbey lane this lunchtime, the other at Pickley green.

Oddly I have not seen a single Redwing or Fieldfare for the last few visits.

Had a walk over to the North Eastern side, were they have been working for the last few weeks and it looks like they are trying to build some sort of reedbed area quite similar to what they've done at Bickershaw rucks in C4.

Couple of hours walk round with my son this afternoon. Noticed very few berries on trees, however a few Blackbirds were feeding, later on saw a single Redwing feeding on berries.

Goldfinch. 10 approx
Greenfinch. 4
Goldcrest. 1
Snipe. 1
Sparrowhawk. 1 Male

Good look around for Short Eared Owl which has previously been reported but no sign of one.
