Thanks Mike. I know they are nothing compared to some of the other members' photos but as they say "practice makes perfect".
I am very thankful to the hides at Pennington flash as they are much easier to take photos from than the outdoors (especially in this colder weather). I realise that this is off topic so I will apologise in advance.

Also House Sparrows there too though.

Didn't even realize until I saw the sign on the car park but I have ran through Hope Carr NR this morning. I didn't find the "main pool" I don't think but I saw several small, shallow pools.

I saw the following in the Nature Reserve:

Blue Tit
Great Tit
Chaffinch
Blackbird
Robin
Wren
Moorhen
Mallard
Black-Headed Gull

On the Glaze near the bridge that goes to the houses:

3 Goosander (2m 1f)
2 Mallards
1 Grey Heron

5 Sparrows flew off as I approached the bridge from the bushes and I didn't get time to get a proper look, could these possibly be Tree Sparrows or are they just the House Sparrows from the nearby houses?
