point of ayr marsh and from the hide(only me in it blissfull birding) ,i didn,t try to count them but more curlew and shelduck than one place needs
a little egret, oystercatchers loads of wagtails, skylarks, meadow pipet, stonechat the list goes on but you already know the rest.after high tide 12.00 went back to presthaven sands, whilst looking for little terns found +100 sandwich terns(had to get me collins out and distant views)eventually found little tern colony after good long walk.
all in all a rather spiffing birding day when i,d promised not to.but she ssussed me puting the gear in amongst the bats and balls etc.,nearly lost the car in the quagmire of a car park so don,t go across sand and shingle when its bucketing down

cheers geoffbiggrin.gifbiggrin.gif
