Hi Steven, as you know I manage a large winter feeding station opposite my house, I had two Goldfinch in October 15 showing signs of Trichomonosis, after shutting the site down I discarded all food that had been on site, washed all feeders in boiling water with disinfectant added.
The site was re-established 7 days later I have had no recurrence since, I buy all my food online in bulk from a certified supplier, I am willing to donate several kilos of food to get the site up and running when required, just PM me.
Sad news from Elton noticed a Greenfinch with Trichomonosis today so decided to take the feeders down to try and stop the spread of it.
Will put them up again after a short time.
Cheers Steven
