Hi Phil,
in recent years a breeding pair and their young (when fledged) regularly visit the car park at the corner of Port Street and Great Ancoats Street in the city and can show very well indeed (see the superb photos on the galleries on the website). Finding singing males in the city can be a nightmare, so your best chance to be honest is to wait for one of the regular watchers of the birds at the car park (above) to confirm the birds are using it and either they or someone else will post the news here.
