Thanks for that Steve. It's interesting where these odd Pinkfeet come from. Every year we have a few odd ones attached to Canada flocks ( ditto odd Barnacles, Greylags, and even Whitefronts). I wonder if they come down in bad weather, then just attach themselves to congeners. They always seem to disappear in summer so must find their way "home" to Iceland etc. It would be interesting if they could be ringed.
