You're following me Annette lol . I went looking for the Water rail but then had to dash back home so didn’t see it. Martin Mere was a cracking day yesterday, lots of good birds.

LOL Kane are you following me ;) I was there this morning too. Saw 2 goosander, 3 young male shoveler, 2 LBB gulls and a kingfisher which i had at 20 feet.

Quick visit to Crompton Lodges this am produced - 1 LBB Gull, 1 female Shoveler, 64 mute swan Inc 2 cygnets and a few goosanders. Also I manage to read the metal ring of a Finnish Black Headed Gull - Details sent to the BTO.
