I've had a look through and unable to see any posts from the Trans Penine Trail so thought I'd start one as I'm down there a fair bit walking the dog whilst birding.
Today I dropped in on the Black Moss Covert NR adjacent to the TPT in Broadheath.
Seen were the following
7 Common Woodpigeon (White-necked) 1 Common Buzzard 1 Eurasian Jay 2 Common Magpie 9 Carrion Crow -- Flyover 10+ Eurasian Blue Tit 3 Great Tit 5 Eurasian Skylark (in field from Black Moss Rd) 1 Long-tailed Tit 1 Goldcrest 2 Song Thrush 3 Eurasian Blackbird 2 Dunnock 2 Common Chaffinch
