Peregrine has just gone over carrying what looked like a ferel pigeon heading south .

5 Groups of Common Scoter of indeterminate number but probably small groups calling going over West to East - Brilliant sound to hear :) new Garden bird for me :) my guess were I live they probably follow the River Mersey up to Warrington before heading over the town.

A good early morning in the garden ,2 Greylag again went over east,1Redwing,1 Song Thrush in nearby trees ,Herring Gull displaying on the roof opposite, I think they nest on the flat warehouse roofs off Dallam Lane .

Chiffchaff sing from the railway embankment across the street at lunchtime God i'd give a million pound if I had it to be at penny for a couple of hours :)

2 new ones this morning so far fly over Greylag Goose and Sterling feeding in the garden first for ages .

10 Magpies the highlight today soon chased off by our regular pair ,and the Coal tits were collecting nest material today :)

Mistle Thrush was a nice surprise today and 2 magpies pic below
3 Mallard sitting on our roof ,2 Male and a Female seeing as were in the middle of Warrington ,the nearest water about a mile away in the sankey Valley id like to think they have come from penny flash to visit me for once :)

All gardens are welcome in this sub-forum John, no matter what county they’re in so it’s nice to see yours here, plus it’s not about listing what you see, that’s a purely personal thing, it’s all about using it for your own benefit as you wish during these testing times

This week we have had a regular pair of Buzzards over, Raven over every day and the regulars which are 2 Coal Tit, up to 8 Blue Tit a few Goldfinches over, a Pair of Magpie and Blackbirds,Robin,Dunnock and Sparrowhawk twice :) I know im out of county ,but who cares at the moment :)

Well im not listing as such but will post some Highlights in the grim time ,we have a garden probably 25 yards by 25 yards in central Warrington , no fields ,just houses surrounding us ,close to the Halliwell Jones Stadium, wishing now we had moved to St Helens Road Leigh many years ago ,but who would ever have predicted this. I am Stir Crazy already but the garden helps ,I have had in the past flyover Hen Harrier, Hobby, Osprey, Peregrine , etc etc ,so see if I see owt in the next few weeks heres a picture of the garden, which Sue does most of the work in except I have my own small area down the side were I grow Cooking Herbs ,most of the plants if not all are wildlife related,we have a pond with Tadpoles at the moment.
