Don’t forget to add locations please as this is a general Glossop thread and as posts build and build without specific locations it becomes a trawl to get back to a post which has the location in it 😉. Cheers.

Waxwings still around this morning feeding on the white berries in the garden. I didn't count them but probably 20 or so. Still plenty of berries to keep them happy so I suspect they will still be around tomorrow. They are almost on the Ludworth patch!
Yes , I counted 54 this morning feeding on white berries in garden on main road, limited parking on main road,do not park on side road as farmer is up and down with a large trailer and apparently gets a bit annoyed if any cars parked blocking his way.

Chunal Moor (south of Glossop): Not trying for birds especially, but a top trio of red kite (two fly-overs, both low), cuckoo (seen at fairly short distance), and hobby filled in for insects I was hoping for. Also curlews, buzzards, kestrel (m), and 7 redpoll.

Diving for fish this morning but not seen to catch anything. Rumoured to have been picked up at another local site and released at Howard Park.
