Hi Nige, the only others I can think of are Heaton Park Reservoir and Woolston Eyes (which isnt in GM but is close by and often gets mentioned). Im sure someone will be along with more if there are any. Most of the best sites in GM are listed in the site guides on the main page and these contain loads of useful info.

I popped to Audenshaw Reservoir on my way home today and hadn't realised it was permit only. Which is fine, now I know :)
Are there any other sites around the area that require a permit?
