I'm in my 70s and in all my life do not ever recall seeing a Cinnabar Moth in my garden. I used to see masses of caterpillars on ragwort locally until about 10 years ago but not since. On occasional visits to the Formby to Southport sand dunes I still see plenty and sometimes the moths.

For the past few weeks I have been seeing them almost daily in my Hyde garden,  sometimes 2 or 3 at a time. A friend showed me a photo of one in his garden last week.

I'm wondering if anyone else in other areas of GM are experiencing the same?
