Marsh Harrier circling high over Dove Holes being mobbed by a Peregrine. Looked Kite-ish at first but it caught the sun at one point, showing a beigey head.

I had a trip to Buxton and cycled all the way to bakewell and back. I feel shattered but seen some very interesting things both on the old railway route and around Buxton. Highlights includes; buzzard, kestrel, 2 sparrowhawks, redstart, a dozen spotted flycatchers totalling 3 families together feeding their juveniles (I've never seen a sight quite like it before), willow warbler and a great spotted woodpecker! Ta!
