Montserrat Mountain 04/10/17
2 Bonelli's Eagles, 2 Firecrests, 1 Kestrel, 1 Song Thrush, 2 Redstarts, 1 Jay and a singing Robin.
Around 30 Crag Martins flying above the monastry.
Salou Area 05-09/10/17
Noticeably very few gulls along the coast, just 1 Audouins, 1 Mediterranean plus a few Yellow Legged and Lesser Black Backs.
Also 1 Sandwich and 1 Common Tern.
Sardinian Warblers together with Great and Blue Tits are numerous and easy to find in coastal scrub and parks.
1 Northern Wheatear was resting on an headland, and small groups of Swallows moved South along the coast.
Just inland of the resort the olive and orange groves held huge numbers of Wood Pigeons and Collared Doves.
There were plenty of Magpies, Jays, Starlings and House Sparrows too.
Also here were 4 Mistle Thrushes, 1 Nuthatch, 4 Hoopoes, 4 Black Redstarts, 3 Redstarts, 2 Blackcaps, 2 Stonechats and a few Chiffchaffs.
