This bird has been present here since early January at least Charles (see the GM parakeet sightings thread) and an attempt at catching it should be really be attempted unless done by a 'professional' or even better by the bird's owner. I fear more harm than good can come from it otherwise. Also, catching it's one thing but what to do with it afterwards (and where to put it!) is another!

A Blue Parakeet was scraping around Wythenshawe Hospital car park yesterday
he was very friendly and lets people approach him ,but not be touched.
Anyone fancy going to try and capture him,no food left on the trees.
