Have taken on a new BTO Breeding Bird Survey this year so was out from 0615 this morning for my first visit. Part of the designated route is through Priory Gardens so I was extremely chuffed to find Wood Warbler trilling above me on the path! Best access is from the small car park off Dane Road (just after the tennis courts if coming from the A56 end). Walk up the track towards the motorway. The bird was on the edge of the wood directly opposite the end of the wooden building on your rhs.
