Saw one in January at Martin Mere that had been ringed in Bolton - thought that was a long traveller, for a Coot, but it obviously had nothing on the Cornish / Irish birds

I could be wrong, but if I remember correctly one I ringed at Pennington turned up in Ireland. T'was a good few years ago.

In 2010 one ringed at Southport as part of the same project was seen at Par Beach Pool, Cornwall!
