I was hoping for something that would help me recreate the scenes from The Battle of Britain including WAAFI's but I'm use the A-Z will do the trick and will be infinitely more portable
Another plus for the Greater Manchester A-Z is that it shows an OS Grid - so handy for planning your BTO Surveys and submitting your records to GM Bird Recording Group
Can't help out with the WAAFs though...

Can anyone advise me where I can purchase a map that shows Greater Manchester and it's boundaries to a degree of detail that would allow clarity on where the border actually runs. I've looked on the OS website but can't see anything obvious, although I know I could just be looking in the wrong place. Living on the edge of the county has made me want to understand the detail and sadly it's an itch I've got to scratch.
