22 Waxwings present this afternoon amongst the tree tops along Bentcliffe way, behind Morrisons in Eccles town centre. The small berry trees that line the supermarkets rear car park were jealously protected by a pair of marauding Mistle Thrushes, that scattered the Waxwings whenever they came anywhere near there precious bounty. Observered while "working" on site, Waxwings taking refuge inside a chemical company site who would believe you!
