Definitely underwatched. Not much there today. Some dippers paired up on the river, no sign of kingfisher either. All quiet in the woods.

I can't say I visit the area often these days, though I used to do a Waterways Bird Survey on the canal and did quite a bit of atlas surveying in the area.
The area is definitely underwatched and the woods always look promising for flycatchers and redstarts (though I've never seen any ).
