This is the valley between tottington, Greenmount, and Hawkshaw. Bury MBC have a comprehensive leaflet on their website with a map. the valley is mixed woodland at the north end with over grown industrial ruins and mill lodges. Further down its pasture with lots of fast flowing brooks. There are many paths but these seems to be accross the valley so a circular route is not easy and it can be very muddy. If you are not familiar with the area use OS map as the guide map is not up to a good root around. there is some of road parking but access and road pareking around the area is quite easy.
