I stayed at a B&B called "Garganey House" a few weeks ago - the rooms were not modern but OK, however the two positive attributes for me were:
[1] the owner is an ex chef [2] a birder with excellent local knowledge.
Its also a short walk into Hunstanton and a rather good curry house :)

I'm planning to do my first trip to Norfolk in May this year with a couple of other birding friends. We're planning to base ourselves around the northern part of Norfolk and look to be staying for two or three nights.
Can anyone recommend any good accomodation that's not too expensive. I'm thinking of a B&B or a pub or such like.

Cheers in advance.
