Thanks for the update Ian, we appreciate that you are at the mercy of others when it comes to putting something like this together, & that you have a life of your own to lead.

'We' seem to have high expectations, let's hope the other 'we' can deliver
It has now basically been written and will now be all put together before going to the printers. How long this will take I won't put a time on as deadline's appear to be there to be broken but I assure you it will be as early as is possible . As soon as I have news I will definitely post it here.

We know its going to be worth the wait, we know its going to be better than before, we know its going to be all shiny singing and dancing
We know its taken a lot of effort time hardship, blood sweat and tears.
Sorry to pester but any news?

Having literally just stepped off a plane having arrived back in GM, this subject was on my rather considerable 'to do' list for the forthcoming week.
This year the report will obviously be later than usual. There are a few good reasons for that and it was apparently always intended to be produced later than normal due to the intention for the Atlas to take priority. Coupled with the dramatic learning process for some of those new to the production of the report, it's lateness is necessary but a one-off. As it happens we have now made the report our priority, so I will keep everyone aware of its status from time to time and as soon as I have a confirmed date for it being printed I'll let you all know.
It should be well worth the wait though with some exciting new production changes which the new editing team have brought in. Changes which continue to improve our report and push the boundaries of what we are capable of achieving.
Any further queries, please don't hesitate to ask (and thanks for allowing me to get one of those 'to-do's off my list nice and early Sean ).

I know I'm often late with my own submissions of BBS, Atlas and other survey data, but after I received my Lancashire Bird Report 2010 last week through the post I wondered if there was any sign of 2010 GM Bird Report on the horizon?
I appreciate that a lot of hard work goes into the report, but my excitement has got the better of me and I thought I'd be the first to ask when it might be ready to go to the printers!??? and most of all when I might be able to get my hands on a copy??
